Since 2015, James Zimmerman, co-owner of Country Log Cabins, has brought decades of woodworking and construction experience to every project. After helping his father farm and build cabinets in his teens and working 12 years in construction, James launched his own woodworking business, focusing on sustainable, locally sourced wood products.

By 2022, he recognized a growing demand for high-quality modular and recreational cabins—beautiful, durable structures that homeowners or their contractors could enjoy without the hassle of complicated construction. Driven by this vision, James developed the infrastructure to design and manufacture turnkey-ready cabins that combine rustic charm, modern comfort, and lasting quality. A small selection of DIY kits is also available for those seeking a hands-on building experience, though the focus remains on fully assembled, move-in-ready cabins suitable for weekend retreats, hunting lodges, or full-time living.
